Mary Queen of Scots helped establish massage as a recognised therapy. Since then massage has come a long way. We, here at Cloud 9, offer a variety of massage approaches, tailored to the individual’s needs.
We can offer you a FREE half hour consultation to help you choose the appropriate approach for you.
Whether you choose massage for pleasure, relief from aches and pains, for sports or other injuries, or purely to bring relief from today’s daily stresses, we at Cloud 9 endeavour to help you relax and find relief from your discomforts.
Indian Head Massage
We also offer Indian Head Massage, focusing on the head, neck and upper back, this is an excellent de-stressor. Relaxing the nervous system and helping to relieve tension throughout the body, top to toe. Suitable for a vast range of conditions where tightness aches and pains prevail, and congestion and related symptoms.
| At your first session |
• |
A detailed medical history is taken to help in determining a tailored massage treatment. |
• |
The length of the session will be discussed at the beginning of the treatment, or at the time the appointment is made. |
• |
You will be asked to remove clothing appropriate to the treatment – your therapist will hold towels as a screen to allow you to comfortably undress and get on to the couch, when you will then be covered with towels to preserve your modesty. |
• |
Massage oils or creams will be used to allow for a fluid, free flowing massage. |
DURING TREATMENT
We are often asked by our clients whether they should talk, or remain quiet, during a session; our experience has shown us that the client will always do whatever is appropriate for them at the time of the treatment – there is no right or wrong way to enjoy your session.
