There is nothing quite like having your feet massaged and kneaded - pure bliss.
Integral to a reflexology treatment is the application of specialised massage techniques using thumb and fingers to stimulate the thousands of nerve endings in the feet.
At your first session
•
a detailed medical history is taken to help in determining a tailored reflexology treatment.
•
the length of the session will be discussed at the beginning of the treatment, or at the time the appointment is made.
•
you will be asked to remove your shoes and socks.
•
your feet will be refreshed with soothing and refreshing scented flower water.
•
during the treatment creams or oils will be used to enhance the therapeutic massage effects of reflexology.
During treatment
•
during the treatment you may experience tender areas - this is normal and indicates areas of imbalance in the body
•
We are often asked by our clients whether they should talk, or remain quiet, during a session; our experience has shown us that the client will always do whatever is appropriate for them at the time of the treatment – there is no right or wrong way to enjoy your session.

After your Treatment

Drink plenty of fluids – water is best – this helps flush away toxins. Try to avoid alcohol and tobacco for at least 24 hours.
At all times DON’T HESITATE to ask your therapist for advice or to call your therapist after the session, or in between sessions, if you require help or information.
